I can already say that I love the place, the plants, the buildings, the people. Everything looks so cool! Also stuff is significantly cheaper than in Paris (eating out and beers outside in particular).
There was also some incredible weather today, 46C in the shade. I was really afraid of what it might be like beforehand, but with the 8% humidity and strong wind it felt really good, like walking in a giant hairdrier... I found it far more enjoyable than freezing temperature.
I still haven't really found accomodation yet and most of my time is spent looking for a shared flat, I hope I get one during next week, because I don't feel like staying in this hostel forever.

Anyway, I am probably going to have dinner somewhere now. I'll keep you informed about Melburnian life, and will try, when I get the time, to tell more and describe more of this wonderful place!
